Good old fashioned Kiwi 'grit'

Post by scarab280 » Tue Nov 05, 2019 5:23 am

A 47 year old New Zealand woman, alone and adrift in an inflatable dinghy on the Agean sea, after losing an oar, and drifting more thsn 55 nautical miles, at night, used survival skills and common sense to survive, until rescued by the Greek coastguard...good job! The NZ coastguard, when asked, said she did everything right to survive.

Now that's not something you hear about every day.

I bet she was relieved when she saw that Greek coastguard!
