Freaky Fears on the Friday NO PO Open Thread
I have the first one, fear of holes or bumps, Rick has the fear of clowns, don't know anyone who has a fear of chickens, but, there seems to be an official phobia of almost anything...lol...there is a reasonable supposition that the fear of holes could be biological memory of a time when something(s) with holes was a serious danger, like back in cavemen days. The fear of clowns could be a bad experience as a child or a reaction to an anthropomorphic version of people ( they don't like people are supposed to) also linked to DNA memory from long ago,as we evolved to recognize human faces for safety reasons. Both are pretty common fears, especially clowns. ( sorry if I triggered anyone with these choices...lol). In my case if there is something in the holes, I freak out more. they obviously are no danger to me realistically, but, I get this shiver up my spine and feel really uncomfortable when I see them. Are you prone ot any of these, or others I didn't mention, or ones someone you know has?

That fear of clowns is perfectly rational. It'll save your life some day.

I’m not fond of heights. I can’t go any higher than the step of a ladder. I just freeze. I wasn’t that when I was younger but once I broke my ankle, it screwed up my balance

Far more people have gotten injured or killed falling off a simple ladder than…. oh wait, I’m supposed to be helping you get past that fear. Oops

I used to have a pretty intense needle phobia, but when my wife had to take weekly shoots I got over it helping her. Now my fears are all routed in real world. My son becoming a serial killer, losing my job, serious illness, Gavin Newsom.

It's cheaply made, exploitive, and terrible. Therefore it is completely entertaining.
You may require BitTorrent it to find it
