A day for reflection on a lot of things today. But, especially, for me, remembering how we pulled together as a country during a crisis as we haven't since then. And I hope we are able to do that again, though, not necessarily because of a crisis. Have a nice day.

This is a fascinating moment in the zeitgeist. We learn that it’s far easier to get a family to band together when the ‘problem’ is apparently external, and when it seems that throwing some force at it can make a difference, than when the problem is internal differences. Then the dysfunction is seemingly insurmountable.
