People here act like COVID is over. Yet most of the local hospitals have tents set up in the parking lot to treat the overflow. Including Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh
Even the urgent medical care places are extremely busy
And I’ve seen the semi that hauls caskets about twice as much as I usually do
I mask up when I go out. And I still avoid going to places where there will be large numbers of people in confined areas. Like the real estate office.
I’m so sick of this But Covid isn’t done with us yet

Florida has surrendered. They are eliminating quarantine requirements. How long until they decide contact tracing = evil godless socialism, and eliminate that too?

It has long been clear that if you choose to live in Florida that is your own punishment.

I mask up when I go out. And I still avoid going to places where there will be large numbers of people in confined areas.

Whenever I go to the grocery store like I have to today, there are ALWAYS three or four jackasses roaming around with no mask on. We're a mask-mandate state for all public indoor spaces. However the stores seem unwilling to refuse service to such people. I'd like to see a sign that says "Unmasked persons will not be allowed to purchase items, and will be asked to leave." instead of the state mandated "Masks required for entry."

What's even worse are the people who come in wearing a mask with unmasked children. There is still the enduring myth that young children cannot get the disease. Almost as bad are the jackasses who hang their mask off of one ear, or under their nose. Or the famous "beard bra."

Oh my aching head.

My only thought here is for bolstering up your immune systems, that's all. I hope you're all doing 5000 IU of vitamin D3 a thousand of vitamin C daily. Not talking cure here so please don't be beating up on me. And some zinc.
