The Socialist Republic of California now has the trucking companies in a catch-22
They disqualified half the trucking company fleets and now they're putting them in a catch-22 situation where there is no winning. LA and Long Beach port authority are going to fine these companies $100 a day for every container that's not moved off the docks
Socialist bastards

Evening Ms. Z
Yep, the founders of this country never envisioned a runaway federal government such as we have today.
I'm on the states rights team to balance power . Though I am in principle for states rights something has to be done about this California because they're holding the rest of the country hostage

Re: Weary of the Wrangling on the Wednesday Political Open Thread
A little late to post this, but I think Kyle Rittenhouse's trial is already a travesty and it hasn't even really started. He's going to get acquitted because the judge is blinded by his own hypocrisy. I don't know if Judge Bruce Schroeder is racist or a gun nut or simply outrageously conservative, but his refusal to allow the prosecution to refer to the people Rittenhouse shot as "victims" but allowing the defense to refer to them as "arsonists, rioters, and looters" is unfathomable. I understand the philosophy behind forbidding the use of "victim" because it might prejudice the jury, but isn't calling them "arsonists, rioters and looters" just as prejudicial? What's wrong with simply calling them by their names?
At best I see this as being called a mistrial, but most likely it will result in Rittenhouse's acquittal. And it pisses me off.

As I recall it happening, Rittenhouse was 'running away' with his loaded weapon from a half a dozen 'victims' when three 'victims' caught up to him and proceeded to attack him as he fell - punch, kick and doing the skateboard swing. I may be mistaken on this point, I'll have to go back and check, but I do believe there was warning shot fired and then still the asinine 'victims' , 3 on one ( and him with a firearm, go figure - I sure as hell wouldn't be running after a guy with a rifle to beat him up ).
Two dead, that IS a tragedy.. the whole situation a tragedy, and one horribly maimed arm of the third. The whole world's gone crazy - a series of mistakes. Rittenhouse should Never have been there in the 1st place. Then there's people running wild in the streets doing the craziness ?? Comman sense no where to be found
