Tams and Toppers and Ten-Gallons on the Tuesday NO PO Open Thread
I love hats, on me, and on men. the pink hat at the top is one of my favorite styles, I have a couple, and I wouldnt mind more in more colors. The second hat, a fedora is my favorite on men. I love wearing hats and think they look good on me, and love seeing them on men too. Everyone can't wear them or look good in them, but, if you can, you should. I miss wearing them, doesn't seem to be many places I can anymore. How do you feel about hats?

I hate hats in general, and avoid them whenever possible.
I have never heard of a flat-cap being called a "Ben Hogan" before.

That pink hat is really cute!
I don’t wear hats now. I like a sweatshirt or coat with a hood to keep my neck warm and In the winter I wear a fleece headband to keep my ears warm
Harry liked hats. He had quite a collection. Especially ball caps with Pittsburgh sports teams

In cold weather I use a headband too, (and hoods)most of my other hats are not weather appropriate, just fashion...Randi wrote: ↑Tue Nov 02, 2021 10:49 amThat pink hat is really cute!

I ordered and got the Panama back in this past May. I got it for when I thought it might be a real sunny day. It's a pretty cool hat - the front rim you can bend down and it'll hold its shape. The only problem is when I put on a Hawaiian shirt with the hat I look like the Cuban 'Godfather'. Doesn't look like me anymore

I enjoy a wider brimmed fedora, specifically in rain. Where it works as a supplementary umbrella.

I also am not a hat person. I have a ‘cowboy’ casual sorta hat that I wear maybe once or twice a year, but that’s about it. And I’m baffled by folks who wear baseball caps all the time, ESPECIALLY wearing them backwards. And I’ve seen this more times than I can count…. how effen stupid is this? lol
As for the flat cap, yeah it’s a Ben Hogan. Most golfers know this.

I used to go bareheaded all the time, but the sun took a toll on me. I now wear a ball cap outs except for early mornings and late evenings, and I wear a wide brim hat at the ranch or when working outside.

I have been known to wear a baseball cap backwards on rare occasions, but there's a specific reason for it. Sometimes when I'm shooting the brim will hit the scope so you can't wear it that way, but you still want to keep the sun off your scalp and neck. Nobody likes a sunburn on their scalp.
