Sooo… we are tapping the Strategic Reserve then in order to protect the profits of ExxonMobil? Who’d have guessed?
Meanwhile, Kevin McCarthy is defending Boebert’s rants against Omar. Again, no surprise there. Even if McCarthy believes otherwise, he knows his position of power hinges on continuing to cater to the rampant xenophobia that is now the sole platform of the Republican Party. He will be primaried if he does not support it…. but I think he supports it anyway, as a large component of his character.
