For those of you who contend that a) systemic racism no longer exists, and/or b) systemic racism once existed, but is gone and does not affect people today, and/or c) even if it does exist, anything we could try to do about it would only make things worse, I submit the following:
As for other topics: well-known right wing mouthpiece Ben Shapiro, in response to the “don’t say gay” stuff sweeping the Confederacy, said (nearly verbatim)teachers do not have the right of free speech in schools. While you ponder that statement, bear in mind that Shapiro also says that guns belong in the schools, that the 2nd Amendment guarantee does not end when you enter a school.
Speaking of such consistency of thought/principle:

More fascinating news: They knew they were committing criminal acts. That is, sitting members of Congress, in the wake of Jan.6 and in some cases prior, apparently inquired with the trump administration about pardons for themselves for what they were doing in connection with the coup attempt.
Pardons are completely unnecessary for folks who are abiding the law as they go about their business. Accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt. Seeking a pardon is likewise an admission of knowledge that the act for which you are seeking a pardon is a criminal act. And if you seek it ahead of the act itself, you are clearly guilty of conspiracy.
