Have a superior Saturday! I spent several days talking about Alito and the leak etc...it was exhausting and I think I won't do anything like it for the weekend.

According to an article I read it's thought that Putin hasn't been well and undergoing some sort of surgery this week. That has minds racing with all sorts of scenarios. I understand he's picked his man to hold his office temporarily while he's recovering. A big time hawkish guy even more so than him. Is it more serious than they're putting on, is Putin really on his way out?

My guess is they aren't going to tell the truth if it endangers his image or plans

After the leaked Roe opinion, Justice Thomas says the Supreme Court can't be bullied

Realistically, what this statement means is Thomas is whining about being bullied.

Wow, Thomas actually spoke! I’m stunned!

Blech. The horse that won the Derby last year, Medina Spirit, of course was later disqualified for failing the steroid test. I just found out that the poor horse died December 6, after a workout. I did not like trainer Baffert to begin with; now I hate the guy. It’s pretty obvious that he abused that horse. Trained it to death! Owner Amr Zedan also bears huge responsibility.

The poor horse did not deserve this. I’m disgusted.
