Right now I'm thinking about monkeypox. Will this be a pandemic sequel to covid-19 ? Part of a continuing saga.

The reason for the Chinese covid, the reason for shipping screwed up and shut down out of China.. they've been using the time and docks loading their own ships. 900 cargo ships loaded with military equipment prepared for invasion. (Taiwan?)

I am most concerned that Putin will get tired of losing in Ukraine and start lobbing around tactical nuclear bombs. That could be a mess of truly Titanic proportions
The China Taiwan issue is much less worrying to me. China generally goes about things on the long term, not so much in short term fighting and attacks. I simply don't see them invading Taiwan anytime soon. They have little to gain and a whole lot to lose. It's easier to just let them continue to say that Taiwan is part of China while leaving Taiwan mostly alone.
Other things that worry me are going on in Turkey and Hungary.

Politics is probably what I'm least worried about. The issues in politics only mirror the issues with our culture. In a democracy you don't always get the government you want, but you always get the government you deserve. If I had to pick a single political issue it has to be congress as a whole. They seem to be more interested in gotcha style sound bites then any actual governing.

ignorance - combine it with either poverty and/or racism, and you have a real problem.
Oh, wait . . . racism and ignorance are already here, have infected one of our political parties - Greedy Old consPiracy party

In Michigan, five (yes, five) candidates for Governor have been implicated in a fraud scheme. Seems that all five of them submitted fraudulent signatures, in order to reach the threshold required to be on the ballot.
Anyone wanna guess which party they represent? Anyone? Bueller? Shoddy? Which party candidacy are all five vying to win?
