(NO PO) National Day Of: Ice Cream Cake, Orange Blossoms and Sunglasses

Post by Z is for Zangie » Mon Jun 27, 2022 11:08 am

I love Ice Cream Cakes ( especially Dairy Queen's). And preferable some form of chocolate. Orange Blossoms are pretty, though I knew the term, I never knew what they actually looked like. And Sunglasses...as someone who has worn glasses since the 4th grade, I can only wear sunglasses ( which I have quite a few of, brightly colored ones), if I wear contacts, which I rarely do nowadays ( especially as I have to use reading glasses to read when I wear them)..lol..but, I do have photo grey lenses in my glasses.

Been months since the orange blossoms bloomed, same with all other citrus here in South Texas. Late February and early March, when they bloom, smells heavenly, and they don't really cause allergies.

And then there are the exact opposite: Cottonwood. No discernable scent, leaves tree spunk over everything, and is the worst allergy vector other than scotch broom.

Then again, the dogwoods have been magnificent this year.
