( Monday NO PO) National Pie Day & National Handwriting Day
Boy, someone at that place really likes pie...lol..I wish they wouldn't repeat so much, but it is what it is. Dutch Apple, Cherry, and Strawberry, though I will eat most other than mince, and coconut cream, (I love coconut, just not the pie...lol....) I love pecans but have never had Pecan pie...I should try it next holiday from Mama Jo's Pies. I think I have really lovely handwriting and work on it, I also just like to write, letters, in cards, poetry, etc. I even love to fill out forms...lol

It can't be Pie day! Pie day is March 14.

My handwriting can only be discerned from ancient Mayan glyphs by remembering that their handwriting was better than mine.

HAHA..That is pretty universal among guys, some have nice writing, but, most do not...my dad used to print everything but his signature, my boss and my last boss I can barely read, though after a while you recognize most of it...
I have a theory that as girls, women spent a lot of time learning it and putting flourishes on it, and taking time, and boys were just like, look, I can make that letter, that is all I need...lol

When I was in high school I took drafting classes, and this was really before the advent of Computer Aided Drawing (they did have a machine that could do it, but almost no kids got to learn it. I don't think the teacher understood it.) Anyway, anything that was labeled in a hand-drawn drawing was done exclusively in block letters. If I concentrate I can write block letters that are legible, but they're never pretty.Z is for Zangie wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 6:50 pmI have a theory that as girls, women spent a lot of time learning it and putting flourishes on it, and taking time, and boys were just like, look, I can make that letter, that is all I need...lol
My Ex on the other hand had the most gorgeous flowing handwriting you ever saw, but nobody could read a word of it.
If I concentrate today I can write in cursive, but it's much slower than me writing legibly in block letters.
