We don't have any mothers here anymore I don't think, but, we all have mothers, so Happy Mother's Day to them. I love buttermilk biscuits myself, along with Buttermilk pancakes...and the dance like a chicken just cracked me up. I have lingering chest congestion which is what I was hoping to avoid, but, I am not feeling as crappy, and no fever, just hope it doesn't linger for a month, like it normally does. Still haven't been paid, so that is making me really nervous, hope the money turns up Monday morning. I am going to talk to the ones that will have a late fee and see if I can get a pass, and if not, I am asking Bill to give me the money to cover them.

Was not aware that chickens could dance.

He's being lazily unhappy that he can't go outside. I tried letting him out supervised, but that didn't go well. He went and hid in the hedge and I had to climb in and fish him out. The antibiotics seem to be working and he's finally not limping today, but they also kinda wipe him out and he isn't playing as much as he normally does.
Usually if I let him out he comes back when I call him, although it might take a bit of calling. Depending on where he's at. However if I try calling him right away after letting him out he sulks and hides in the hedge. Pogo is better about coming when I call her. I'm watching her again this weekend so they're playing.
Aside from that it's insanely hot the last couple days for May. It topped out at 92° yesterday and looks like it'll be the same today. Then mid to upper 80° the rest of the week. Yuck. Average highs for this time of year usually are below 70° but we aren't anywhere near the record of 99° in 1939.
