( ( Wednesday NO PO) Today is National Rum Day, Tell a Joke Day & Roller Coaster Day

Post by Z is for Zangie » Wed Aug 16, 2023 2:17 am

Rum is one of the few liquors I like, especially in Daquri's and I am a big fan of Malibu Rum & Pineapple Juice.

Tell a Joke, I have trouble remembering long jokes, I often remember the punch line and not the body or vice versa...but, I tell them when I can...my favorite one-liner is: What is the difference between love and lust? A spit and a swallow...lol...( it is racy...lol), but it makes me smile

Roller Coasters are cool, I love the speed, can't do the long drop ones though, I get literally sick...lol...unfortunately

My white blood cell count has been slightly elevated since the cancer....don't know if that is a positive here, but, I also don't normally get colds/flus much either...

"Words I wouldn't say in front of my Mother or Grandmother" on a crutch.

It's 7:00 p.m. and still 101° outside. I looked at the county map, and the coolest it is anywhere is 98°. The forecast for tomorrow is "Much cooler." Which is to say, 91°,

Here it has been unusually cool, 50s and 60s at night and not much more than the upper 70s, during the day...normally August is our hottest month. We have had a lot of rain, the last week or so, but, not thunderstorm, severe storms, this is tornado season here... it isn't unusual for us to get 90s in August, and the upper 80s is normal, and once in a while, we go over a 100, but not often.
It has just been a weird summer, like this past winter that was super mild in temps and snow.
