( Sunday NO PO) Today is Grandparents Day, Swap Ideas Day & TV Dinner Day

All my grandparents, unfortunately, are dead. I do miss my maternal grandmother who was the only one I was close to.

I don't have any good ideas to swap really, and right now I am tired of having to discuss anything online these days. I am tired of the meanness, hate, and arguing all the time...that's an idea, if you can't be civil and polite, don't speak to me, you may ( though not legally, which only applies to the government) be able to say almost anything ( there are some limitations) you want, but, I have the same right to tell you that I don't agree and I don't have to put up with abuse from anyone, especially on a site I moderate


I haven't had a TV Dinner in years (though I sometimes get frozen pizza or Mac and cheese) but, even when I did eat them, the fried chicken was the only one I could tolerate.

It's sort of, kind of along the same idea sort of ..

There's a Mike's grocery nearby and they have a hot deli where you pick what you want in a styrofoam carton dish and for about $7.50 you can get yourself some pretty good cooking. They do better than most.
That's download pic but it's close - u get the idea. May have to pick up a few things at the grocery tomorrow now

I miss my Grandparents. All of them are gone except my Step-Grandmother, who I love but don't see often enough. My Maternal Grandmother was a great influence on my life until she died just before I turned 19. Ovarian cancer. I was living with them at the time, and it was a difficult year. Then some 20-odd years later I moved back in with my Maternal Grandfather and his 2nd wife, and lived with them until he died. Lung cancer. He was probably the biggest influence in my life. I miss them both in many and very different ways. I wasn't as close to my Paternal Grandparents, and today I feel like I didn't appreciate them as much. Not that I didn't appreciate them, but it was a very different household. We did different things and ate different foods.

Now I'm just the weird old uncle for a passel of unappreciative nieces and nephews and a few appreciative ones who I'm not actually related to.
