I remember where I was when I learned about what happened, I was at work, and we had a small TV there for watching videos for work and conferences. My boss heard it on the radio and said to turn the TV on and we all went to the conference room and watched. I was shocked and cried quite a bit. I can't imagine these days ( though I hope I am wrong) the country pulling together in a crisis like we did then.

This starts rough, but it does have a happy ending. For the life of me I don't know how anyone could abuse and allow an animal to get in this bad of shape.

OMG, anyone who abuses children and animals is despicable...
I cried through the whole thing, first sadness at how he was treated and then joy they were able to get him back to normal...

Yes Z, he was lucky, very lucky to be taken in & loved on by people who would care for him back to health - this one did have a happy ending
