Mixed Metaphors on the Monday NO PO Open Thread
They are almost always ( though sometimes unintentionally) funny. I can't think of any original ones, can any of you? I am thinking of how to do Malapropisms for next Monday..so, heads up...lol

Here are some pretty clever ones:
Well-mixed metaphors:
not the sharpest cookie in the jar.
you can take that to the bank and smoke it.
a watched clock never boils.
march to your own trumpet.
it never hurts to try anything once.
more fun than a barrel of laughs.
render unto Caeser's ghost.
a stitch in the nick of time.

Kathryn Hahn was robbed. ROBBED I say!
(I personally could care less about the Emmys, but her turn as Agatha Harkness in WandaVision was outstanding. So evil. So amazing.)

I haven't seen Wandavision yet, but, I love Kathryn Hahn, way back to some of her older stuff...that show with what's his name, ( young actor, well known..shoot) spooky, I think I remember her first, then Crossing Jordan, How to lose a guy in 10 days, there are a lot of her things I haven't seen yet...but, I should...I just recently found out she is one of the voices on Hotel Transalvania, but, nothing I have seen her in do I dislike

She also plays (the voice of) the villain (or one of them) in Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse, which I highly recommend. I'm not even a fan of Spider-man or urban culture, and even I enjoyed it thoroughly. The cast is stellar, the animation is groundbreaking and fantastic, and the writing is excellent.
Haley Steinfeld as Spider-Gwen? Yes please. (She's also playing Kate Bishop in the new Hawkeye series, which looks great so far.)
Nicholas fucking Cage as Spider-Man Noir? Sign me up!
